Sony Launches Xperia Z5 Smartphones at IFA 2015

Sony has finally broken the mounting suspense by launching a flagship of 3 Smartphones in the Xperia Z5 series at IFA 2015. The buzz surrounding the launch of the Xperia Z5 series only seemed to have amplified when the phones hit the red carpet. The Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact, and Z5 Premium took the centerstage post its launch in the IFA 2015 with its classy look and rich features. Of the 3 phones, the Xperia Z5 Premium was the cynosure of all eyes for being the first ever Smartphone from Sony to sport a 4k display.

Take a look at what’s so awesome about the all new Xperia Z5 premium from Sony…

  • The phone comes with a 5.5 inch 4k UHD Display.
  • It is powered by Android Lollipop 5.1 and a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon processor.
  • With 3GB Ram and 32GB Rom, Z5 premium supports up to 200GB expandable memory.
  • The Z5 premium comes with a 23 MP rear and 5 MP front camera.
  • With dual sim support and 3430 mAH battery, the Smartphone promises a power-packed performance to its users.

With only a few noteworthy differences, the Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact are no less when compared to the Z5 premium. The Xperia Z5 is almost a clone of the Z5 premium except that it comes with a 5.2-inch FHD display and a 2900 mAH battery, unlike its elder sibling which score on these two grounds. The Z5 Compact is the youngest of them all and comes with a 4.6-inch display, 2 GB Ram, single SIM support and a 2700 mAH battery which less in comparison to the other two phones.

The 3 phones from Sony will be first of its kind to flaunt a fingerprint sensor feature for security. All the 3 phones are water resistant and support 4G/3G/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi/GPS connectivity.  The Xperia Z5 & Z5 Compact will hit the global market from October 2015 whereas the Z5 premium will arrive a bit later. It will be available from November of 2015.

With the excitement still intact post its launch in the IFA 2015, we will have to wait and watch whether its performance and projected features will actually live up to the user expectations!
