Google Playstore to Get a Makeover!

Google Play store is all set to get a facelift soon enough! The look and feel of the store will be overhauled to make more user-friendly and appealing. Recently screenshots of the new Play store were shared revealing main menus placed as tabs, mainly into two tabs i.e Apps & Games and Entertainment. At present we can see 6 different tabs like music, games, etc. In the makeover design, all these options will be placed into subheadings like new releases, categories, charts, etc.  The Playstore’s new design will also support RTL formats. Languages including Urdu which are written from the right to left will make its way to this facelift.

Recently Google had redesigned its logo reflecting the changes in the tech giants thought process. It showcased their approaches which are always centered around the users. The Play store design revamp will also be a step towards enhancing the end user experience. Google Play store has a large user base with thousands of uploads downloads happening every single day. Therefore revamping the Playstore design, look and feel is more than justified. The new look will make it more convenient for users to search, install and review apps.

Google has always been into experimenting with new ideas be its core products or secondary ones. This update will come as a surprise to the users since the change will reflect on Playstore all by itself! Unlike updating an android app user will not be getting a message explicitly to do so! So even before you know, your Playstore would have seen a hundred changes.

With all the buzz surrounding the official launch of the revamp, Google has just sent out a statement that the design uplift will be rolled out to the users very ‘soon’! Now how soon will that be is something that Google will answer very ‘soon’!
