360 Degree Panoramic Photo View now on Facebook
The much-awaited panoramic views of photographs are now available on the world’s largest social networking platform. Facebook news feeds will now have 360-degree panoramic views of pictures that the users can upload and share on their timeline.
All users have to do is to capture the images using a 360 camera or probably an app and upload it onto the platform. Facebook will convert it into a panoramic photo which the users can explore and share. This feature is live on Facebook’s Web, Android, and iOS versions.
The compass icon on the right of the photo will help you identify panoramic photos from its counterparts. To check out the panoramic feature all you have to do is to tap & drag the image or just moving the phone around will do the trick!
On the web version of Facebook; click and drag will let you explore this awesome new feature from the social networking giant. Facebook, however, is still working on the feature to upload 360-degree photos onto the platform. And very soon users will get to watch the images in VR with the Samsung Gear put on!
So now you could share your trek pictures with your friends and make them experience the same with the panoramic view effect from Facebook.
So even if they missed the fun, Facebook will make sure that they get to experience it via the virtual-reality induced panoramic views. Last year Facebook launched the 360-degree video uploading feature and this year pictures are all set to go 360 too! Now, this is some great news for those hooked to Facebook for their social networking needs.
Hope this feature enthralls them and brings in more novelty into the social networking platform!
